Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Opercity. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We are not claiming we have fully met them yet.
What we have done
Easy to readLight text on a dark background with strong contrast, and text that grows when you zoom or change your device's text size.
Works without a mouseYou can reach every link and button with a keyboard. A bright outline shows where you are. A "Skip to main content" link is the first stop on every page.
Works with screen readersEach page has a clear heading order and labeled sections. Decorative pictures and emoji are hidden so they do not get in the way.
Big tap targetsButtons and tiles are large enough to tap with a thumb.
Gentle motionIf your device is set to reduce motion, we turn animations off.
What we are still working on
Outside reviewWe check our pages with automated tools and by hand. We have not yet had an outside audit or testing by people who use assistive technology every day. We would like to.
The sign-up formThe pilot sign-up form is built with Wix tools. We are checking that its labels, required fields, and error messages work well with screen readers.
Always changingOpercity is in a pilot, so pages change often. We recheck as we go.
Something got in your way?
Tell us which page and what happened. We will fix it, or get you the same information another way, such as by email or phone.
